Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Please include them when you are able to RSVP so we can have an accurate head count.
Can we bring the kiddos?
Yes. There is plenty of room for your kiddos. Please include them in your head count.
What is the parking situation?
Street parking only, however, there should be ample space for the time of day. If preferable, we recommend taking a Lyft, Uber, or taxi anyway. PLEASE NOTE: On Saturdays the meter must be fed until 7PM. If you do not already have the Parking Kitty app, we recommend downloading the app to avoid having to pay directly at the meter. Parking Kitty is recognized by the City of Portland and will remind you when it’s time to feed the meter, which you can then pay for from your phone.
Is there a dress code?
God no. But if you’re someone who likes to dress for a theme, here are some key words that you may consider when choosing your outfit: retro, earthy, boho, 70’s, celestial, moody, Stevie Nicks, tarot, witchy. Just look at your (self-designed) invitation for inspo.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. There is an elevator to the main floor, a loading ramp, and accessible bathrooms.
Are you feeding us?
Yes. We will likely eat 30 mins to an hour after the ceremony. There will be a buffet and options for most dietary needs.
What is the booze situation?
Open bar with a selection of wines and beer. There will not be a full bar. Do not bring your own alcohol to the venue.
Where should I stay?
We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Inn at Northrup Station and Canopy at Hilton. It is first come, first serve but the hotels will likely have more rooms available if needed. Please see the Travel page for more accommodation recommendations. There are tons of nearby hotels and Portland has some wonderful Airbnb options if you’d prefer to go that route. For your reference, the venue is in NW Portland near the Alphabet and Pearl Districts. We live in the NE area if you are not looking to stay downtown.
Who can I ask questions to on the day of the ceremony?
We know that you may have questions that we haven’t thought of but we ask that on the day of the wedding, you reach out to Katie at (720) 989-6283, while the couple is busy preparing for their day.
